The 2001 Acura MDX Touring model was powered by 3.5 liter V6 engine that produced 240 hp of power at 5300 RPM. Although very similar to standard models, the touring edition offers additional features and adds to the already impressive vehicle.

It was mated with 5-speed automatic transmission. With the powerful engine, the vehicle could achieve fuel economy of 17 miles per gallon in the city premises, while it achieved 23 miles per gallon on the highway roads. The optional features provided in the 2001 Acura MDX Touring model include, 6-disc in-dash CD changer, driver’s mirror/seat memory, navigation system with dashboard screen and roof rack. The second and third row seats in the model were provided as standard feature in the Odyssey model. The third row seats were fold-able so as to provide extra cargo space at the rear side.
